Favorite Christian Artist: Josiah Queen​

Favorite Bible Verse:  "For I know the plans I have for", declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future"- Jeremiah 29:11. 

Why this verse?:  ​Ever since the movie 'Soul Surfer' came out when I was the ripe age of 10, this verse was all I could ever think of. I nearly recited this movie beginning to end and when I began my journey with God and decided to fully give myself to him, this verse was the one verse I was always able to remember. Every time I feel like nothing seems to be working out or going the way I had hoped, I always think of this verse and it reassures me that God will never leave, fail, or forsake me.

Favorite Christian song: 

Another One by Elevation Worship.

Everytime I hear this song begin to plan in church I automatically begin to tear up and cry. Lyrics such as,"You do everything on purpose... You're working it all for good... Miracle after miracle, open door after open door, here it comes so get ready for another one cause another one is on the way" are by far the greatest reassurance for where God is/will be taking me in life. Sometimes we forget that everything is in God's hands, not ours. We don't get to determine the outcomes of what goes on in our lives, only God can. He will do everything on time and everything will happen with a purpose.
